How did I fall so far behind?
Why Am I searching for perfection?
Knowing it's something I won't find
In my fear and flaws
I let myself down again
All because
I run
Till the silence splits me open
I run
Till it puts me underground
Till I have no breath
And no roads left but one
When did I lose my sense of purpose?
Can I regain what's lost inside?
Why do I feel like I deserve this?
Why does my pain look like my pride?
In my fear and flaws
I let myself down again
All because
I let myself down
In my fear and flaws
I run
Till the silence splits me open
I run
Till it puts me underground
Till I have no breath
And no roads left but one
No roads left but one
In my fear and flaws
I let myself down again
All because
I run
And the silence splits me open
I run
And it puts me underground
But there's no regret
And no roads left to run
The lyrics "No Roads Left" by Linkin Park focus on the journey of self-discovery and the empty feeling of searching for perfection in life. The song talks about the feeling of being lost and without a sense of purpose. The writer portrays the feeling of being hard on oneself, leading to feelings of fear and flaws. These self-doubts cause the writer to feel like a failure, looking for ways to run away from the pain of not fulfilling the expectations they have set. In the bridge, the writer speaks of the question of when they lost their sense of purpose and their hope to regain it. The song then concludes with the idea that there is only one road left to take, and while it may be scary, the writer has no regrets.
The chorus of the song, "I run till the silence splits me open, I run till it puts me underground, till I have no breath and no roads left but one", portrays the frustration associated with running from oneself. The metaphorical meaning of "I run" is to escape from emotional turmoil but ends up only digging oneself deeper into it. The writer feels like the search for purpose is a never-ending journey and that the only road left for them is to face their fears and flaws head-on.
The lyrics of the song are both relatable and insightful, as it reflects on the common existential questions that people face. The song is also an excellent portrayal of the punk-rock genre, a significant influence on Linkin Park's music.

SAIKAT CHOUDHURY
I miss chester but this song proves that they don't need to introduce a new lead singer Mike can still carry Chester's legacy and the band by himself
Dr. Hydroxide – The Analytical Gamer
Agree. Should they decide to continue as Linkin Park, I'll buy their new album in a heartbeat even without Chester's voice.
SAIKAT CHOUDHURY
@Dr. Hydroxide – The Analytical Gamer absolutely doctor no doubt about that
Aram Castellanos
You're so wrong.
Update 19/12/22: There are many songs that Mike cannot sing live, however, singing is a career that takes so many years of dedication. I'm going to tell you something, I'm one of those who always admired Mike much more compared to Chester, that is, in my life I always had him as an influence because I'm a musician and because his style of composition are my main influence, but that does not prevent me from being objective. Have you seen Mike singing his own songs live? his compositions for the album "Post Traumatic" are amazing, but the singing career takes a long time of dedication, not all of us have Chester's conditions. As optimistic or fans as we may be, Mike does not have the same resistance or the vocal range, the only way to have a New Linkin Park is to get another vocalist who approaches Bennington's level, and that's the problem, that it is very difficult to achieve. Maybe with Adam Gontier (former frontman of Three Days Grace) or with a screamer and another normal singer

@Aram Castellanos I might be I mean I'm not an expert it's just how I feel
Meduka
@Aram Castellanos I think @SAIKAT CHOUDHURY has a point here though. I think they would do just fine, but it won't be the same without him.

A lot of people are saying Linkin Park will never be the same but people don't realize that they've never been the same, they've always changed, experimented with new music, always been evolving into something new.
